How to watch Knicks vs. Nets: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Wednesday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

The New York Knicks were expected to win this one, and so far that’s exactly how it’s playing out. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Brooklyn Nets as the Knicks lead 89-73.

New York has been riding high on the performance of power forward Julius Randle, who has posted a double-double on 27 points and ten boards in addition to two blocks. A double-double would be Randle’s fifth in a row. One thing to keep an eye out for is Mitchell Robinson’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Brooklyn hasn’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 12 points or fewer.

they have lost 79% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this season, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The New York Knicks haven’t won a game against the Brooklyn Nets since Jan. 26 of 2020, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Wednesday. New York and Brooklyn will face off in an Atlantic Division battle at 7:30 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden. The Nets will be strutting in after a win while the Knicks will be stumbling in from a defeat.

New York fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 127-123. If the result catches you off guard, it should: New York was far and away the favorite. New York’s loss came about despite a quality game from shooting guard Evan Fournier, who shot 6-for-13 from beyond the arc and finished with 29 points and five assists. Fournier hadn’t helped his team much against the Portland Trail Blazers this past Saturday, so this was a nice turnaround for him.

Meanwhile, everything went Brooklyn’s way against the Sacramento Kings on Monday as they made off with a 109-85 victory. Among those leading the charge for the Nets was small forward Bruce Brown, who had 19 points and six assists along with six rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.

It was close but no cigar for the Knicks as they fell 112-110 to Brooklyn in the teams’ previous meeting last November. Maybe New York will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the contest and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
