How to watch Thunder vs. Timberwolves: TV channel, NBA live stream info, start time

Who’s Playing

Minnesota @ Oklahoma City

Current Records: Minnesota 34-29; Oklahoma City 20-42

What to Know

The Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8 p.m. ET on Friday at Paycom Center after having had a few days off. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Minnesota has to be feeling especially confident now that the spread is in their favor.

The Timberwolves strolled past the Golden State Warriors with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the contest 129-114. It was another big night for Minnesota’s center Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 39 points in addition to nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City didn’t have too much trouble with the Denver Nuggets on the road on Wednesday as they won 119-107. Oklahoma City’s center Isaiah Roby looked sharp as he had 26 points and five assists along with seven boards.

This next matchup looks promising for Minnesota, who are favored by a full 10 points. They are currently two-for-two against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

The Timberwolves are now 34-29 while the Thunder sit at 20-42. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Minnesota is worst in the league in fouls per game, with 21.9 on average. To make matters even worse for Minnesota, Oklahoma City enters the game with only 18.3 fouls per game on average, good for third best in the league. Keep an eye on whether or not foul trouble puts Minnesota in a difficult position.
