NBA DFS: Lou Williams and top FanDuel, DraftKings daily Fantasy basketball picks for Saturday, Oct. 26

The 2019-20 NBA schedule continues on Saturday, and one game in particular could draw plenty of attention from NBA DFS players given the likelihood for high scoring. The New Orleans Pelicans will visit the Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. ET in a game with a sky-high total of 237. James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Clint Capela, Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram could be popular NBA DFS picks on Saturday. However, with the masses potentially loading up on players from that game, you’ll have to find other matchups to exploit to separate yourselves on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. So before finalizing your NBA DFS strategy for Saturday, be sure to see the optimal NBA DFS advice and lineups from SportsLine’s resident DFS guru, Mike McClure. He’s won nearly $2 million playing daily Fantasy sports.

McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

McClure rolled through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple lineups that led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings. Now he’s off to a blistering start to the 2019-20 NBA season, cashing on both sites on Tuesday’s Opening Night 2019 and then following that up with returns as high as 20x on DraftKings on Wednesday. Then, he cashed on every lineup he gave SportsLine members on Thursday and Friday. Anybody following him has seen huge returns. Now, he’s turned his attention to Saturday’s NBA slate. You can only see his lineups at SportsLine.

For Saturday, we can tell you one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams at $6,900 on FanDuel and $6,800 on DraftKings. The Clippers have looked dominant through the first two games of what they hope is a new era for the franchise.

Williams had 21 points, seven assists and five rebounds in the season-opening win over the Lakers and then had a game-high 22 points in the destruction of the Warriors on Thursday while chipping in eight assists and three rebounds. Those performances were both worth 6x on DraftKing. Now, he should have a chance to put up even bigger numbers against the DeAndre Ayton-less Suns on Saturday in a game where the total is 227.5.

Part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy also includes rostering Rockets guard Russell Westbrook ($10,200 on FanDuel, $9,100 on DraftKings), who had a strong debut in Houston with 24 points, 16 boards and seven assists. He’s still finding his rhythm with Harden, but Westbrook has tournament-winning upside against the Pelicans on Saturday. New Orleans plays up-tempo, and without Anthony Davis protecting the rim, opponents will put up slate-breaking numbers against the Pelicans this season.

McClure is also targeting another player who has a dream matchup on Saturday. The stars are aligning for him to return 50, even 60 points on DraftKings and FanDuel. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
