How to watch Raptors vs. Heat: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Sunday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Down ten at the end of last quarter, the Miami Heat have now snagged the lead. After three quarters neither squad has the contest in the bag, but Miami leads 81-78 over the Toronto Raptors.

The Heat have enjoyed the tag-team combination of point guard Kyle Lowry and shooting guard Max Strus. The former has 13 points and eight assists along with five boards, while the latter has 14 points. Toronto has been relying on the performance of point guard Fred VanVleet, who has 29 points and six assists. This also makes it four games in a row in which VanVleet has had at least three steals.

Here’s an interesting fact: Miami also had a three-point lead after the third quarter in the teams’ last meeting.

What to Know

The Miami Heat might have tired legs after a contest yesterday as they head on the road against the Toronto Raptors at 7 p.m. ET April 3 at Scotiabank Arena. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

Miami didn’t have too much trouble with the Chicago Bulls on the road this past Saturday as they won 127-109. The Heat relied on the efforts of small forward Jimmy Butler, who had 22 points and six assists along with seven rebounds, and point guard Kyle Lowry, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten dimes.

Meanwhile, Toronto strolled past the Orlando Magic with points to spare this past Friday, taking the game 102-89. The top scorers for the Raptors were point guard Fred VanVleet (19 points), power forward Scottie Barnes (19 points), and shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. (17 points). This also makes it three games in a row in which Fred VanVleet has had at least three steals.

Miami is expected to lose this next one by 5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 12-3 against the spread when expected to lose.

Miami was close but no cigar in the teams’ previous meeting in February as they fell 110-106 to Toronto. Can the Heat avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll soon find out.
